Over the past few weeks, I’ve been playing around with different recipes for turkey sliders. At first, I used just salt and pepper. Then I spiced things up a little by using Montreal Seasoning.

While these were great, I wanted something that was very bold in flavor. Something spicy. Something a little salty. But more importantly, something BOLD. Here is my latest recipe for Spicy Turkey Sliders.

Spicy Turkey Sliders

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Ground Turkey
  • 4 Cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 Tsp. Ginger (fresh, ground)
  • 1 Green Chili Pepper (diced)
  • 1 Small Handful Cilanto (finely chopped)
  • 1 Tbs. Kosher Salt
  • 2 Tbs. Teriyaki Marinade (not sauce)
  • 2 Tsp. Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 Tsp. Paprika
  • 2 Tsp. Mustard Powder
  • 1 Tsp. Coriander Powder
  • 1 Tsp. Ground Cumin
  • 1 Package King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
  • Sriracha Sauce
  • 5 Small Slices Tillamook Medium Cheddar Cheese (optional)

Method

  • Combine all ingredients (except Sriracha sauce, Sweet Rolls and Cheese) by hand in large mixing bowl.
  • Form into small patties using a small ice cream scoop.
  • Grill until complete with cheese if desired.
  • Served on toasted rolls, top burgers with sriracha and sliced red onions (if desired).
  • Yields approximately 4 servings.
