Over the past few weeks, I’ve been playing around with different recipes for turkey sliders. At first, I used just salt and pepper. Then I spiced things up a little by using Montreal Seasoning.
While these were great, I wanted something that was very bold in flavor. Something spicy. Something a little salty. But more importantly, something BOLD. Here is my latest recipe for Spicy Turkey Sliders.
Spicy Turkey Sliders
Ingredients
- 1 lb. Ground Turkey
- 4 Cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 Tsp. Ginger (fresh, ground)
- 1 Green Chili Pepper (diced)
- 1 Small Handful Cilanto (finely chopped)
- 1 Tbs. Kosher Salt
- 2 Tbs. Teriyaki Marinade (not sauce)
- 2 Tsp. Freshly Ground Black Pepper
- 2 Tsp. Paprika
- 2 Tsp. Mustard Powder
- 1 Tsp. Coriander Powder
- 1 Tsp. Ground Cumin
- 1 Package King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
- Sriracha Sauce
- 5 Small Slices Tillamook Medium Cheddar Cheese (optional)
Method
- Combine all ingredients (except Sriracha sauce, Sweet Rolls and Cheese) by hand in large mixing bowl.
- Form into small patties using a small ice cream scoop.
- Grill until complete with cheese if desired.
- Served on toasted rolls, top burgers with sriracha and sliced red onions (if desired).
- Yields approximately 4 servings.
